Government funding

How funded hours work here

England's funded childcare offer has expanded significantly and can cover a large part of your bill — here's the short version.

15 & 30 hours funding

Eligible working parents can claim funded hours from as early as 9 months old through to school age, expanding in stages up to 30 hours a week for eligible families. We'll help you check your eligibility and apply the code to your account.

Universal 15 hours (age 3–4)

Every 3- and 4-year-old in England is entitled to 15 funded hours a week, regardless of parental work status.

Tax-Free Childcare

For costs beyond your funded hours, Tax-Free Childcare can add 20% on top of what you pay in, up to annual limits — we accept payments through the scheme directly.

Funding rules and eligibility change and depend on your circumstances — this is a starting point, not advice. Check your exact entitlement at childcarechoices.gov.uk, and we're happy to talk it through in person.
