Childhood isn't a race
We measure progress against the child in front of us, not a syllabus written for an average one.
About us
E‑Star Nursery started with a simple frustration: every setting we looked at asked us to accept something — a converted house, a rotating staff roster, a curriculum reduced to worksheets. We decided to build the one we couldn't find instead.
Our story
E‑Star Nursery was founded by [founder name(s)], drawing on [X years] in early years education, after seeing too many families choose a setting that was merely convenient rather than genuinely right for their child. The name comes from our own mark: one large star, steady at the centre, held up by two smaller ones — the shape we wanted the whole nursery to take. One thing that anchors everything (the child in front of us), held up by two things that make it real (a purpose-built space, and a team that stays).
We are a new setting, which we'd rather say plainly than dress up. That means no decades of history to point to yet — but it also means every room, every ratio, and every policy has been designed once, on purpose, rather than inherited and patched over for twenty years.
What we believe
Not a mission statement written for a wall — the actual working beliefs behind every decision, from room layout to staffing.
We measure progress against the child in front of us, not a syllabus written for an average one.
The same key person, the same room, the same faces — because trust is built through repetition, not variety.
You know your child better than we ever will on day one. Our job is to listen first, then educate alongside you.
Ratios, DBS checks, and building security aren't compliance boxes — they're the reason you can walk away at drop-off.
The team
Real photos and bios go here once the team is confirmed — for now, the roles we're building around.
Bio, Early Years qualifications, and background to be added once appointed/confirmed.
Baby, Toddler, and Pre-School room leads — each qualified, DBS-checked, and assigned before opening.
Designated Safeguarding Lead and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, named and trained before opening.
The best way to know if E‑Star is right for your family is to walk the rooms yourself.
