If your question isn't here, it's not a silly one — ask us directly and we'll answer it properly, then add it to this list.
Frequently asked questions
We take children from around 9 months through to school age, moving between our Baby, Toddler, and Pre-School rooms as they grow. See Rooms & Ages for exactly how that works.
It varies by child. We build in two to three settling-in sessions before the official start date, but we'll add more if your child needs them — there's no fixed script, and no extra charge for taking it slowly.
Standard exclusion periods apply (for example, 48 hours clear of sickness or diarrhoea) to protect the whole room. We'll always tell you clearly rather than leave you guessing whether to keep your child home.
Yes. Every allergy and dietary requirement is logged, displayed in the kitchen, and cross-checked at every meal — not just noted once at registration. Tell us anything, however minor it seems.
Working parents can access 15 or 30 funded hours depending on eligibility and your child's age, and every 3- and 4-year-old gets a universal 15 hours regardless of work status. Full detail is on our Fees & Funding page, and we'll help you apply it correctly.
A change of clothes, weather-appropriate outdoor wear, and a comfort item if they have one — we'll give you a full kit list once you're registered.
We're open year-round except bank holidays and a short break over Christmas — term-time-only sessions are also available for pre-school-age children. See Fees & Funding.
A full handover at collection, plus daily updates through our learning journal app — photos, notes, and milestones as they happen, not just a verbal summary at pickup.
We ask for four weeks' written notice for changes or withdrawal — full terms are in your registration paperwork, no surprises buried in small print.
